Chelsea Krist, FoodCorps Iowa Fellow Chelsea believes in the power of story, community and collective action to grow equitable, inclusive food systems. An Iowa native, she grew up near the Mississippi River and studied Geography and Sustainability at the University of Iowa. Her days in Des Moines are full of friends, fresh and fermented foods, backyard chickens, and bike rides.
